A CIRCULAR INTERSECTION IN SREMSKA KAMENICA
A roundabout in Sremska Kamenica presents a significant road which enables a direct connection towards the Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases in Sremska Kamenica. The unregulated four-leg intersection was transformed into a 9m-wide two-lane roundabout, including the fitting of side streets intended for two-way traffic into the newly built circular intersection. As part of the works, the main water supply system with a diameter of Ø 500 mm was also reconstructed. The works were completed before the expiration of the agreed deadline, without interruptions in traffic and water supply, which is of great importance since it could influence the functioning of one of the most significant health institutions in our country.
