CARA LAZARA STREET IN BAČKA PALANKA

In Cara Lazara Street in Bačka Palanka, the roadway structure was strengthened by creating a new bituminous base and a layer of asphalt concrete, with changes in respect to the roadway width on shorter road sections, so that the overall roadway width is 6m. In the intersection zones, the roadway was bordered by concrete curbs of 18/24cm in an upright position, with a net height of 12cm above the roadway surface, except on the places with pedestrian crossings where the curbs were installed in horizontal position. Shoulders were built on both sides of the road, with the width of 0.5m and a drop of 4.0%. In the places of the existing car entrances, in order to ensure the smooth functioning of the owners of the buildings along the street in question, ramps were made using a layer of asphalt concrete.
